Adam has lots of ideas in that post, and I remember <a href=\"https:\/\/codersblock.com\/blog\/playing-with-infinity-in-css\/\">Will was messing with similar ideas<\/a> a few years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;d say <em>just use it<\/em> when you&#8217;re trying to use an absolutely huge number like 99999 or whatever, as it expresses what you mean more clearly. But it&#8217;s not always quite right. I was just watching Kevin&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rqjAx7lQo04\">favorite trick video<\/a> where he uses <code>1e5<\/code> as a big value in a <code>clamp()<\/code> and <code>infinity<\/code> doesn&#8217;t work <a href=\"https:\/\/codepen.io\/editor\/kevinpowell\/pen\/019fd889-9233-7d4c-83e2-38cdcfd90596\">there<\/a>, <code>calc()<\/code> or not.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s kinda cool there is Infinity in CSS.
